FORTA® NYLO-MONO® is an easy-to-finish, fully oriented, 100% virgin nylon fibrous monofilament designed to function as a plastic shrinkage reinforcement intended to reduce the formation of shrinkage cracks prior to initial set and to reduce settlement shrinkage.

Non-corrosive, chemically inert, and resistant to alkali attack.

Tensile Strength: 140 ksi. (966 MPa)

Applications:

FORTA® NYLO-MONO® is primarily used with cast-in-place concrete applications such as slab-on-grade, overlays/toppings, curbs, driveways, sidewalks, basement floors, garage floors, and colored concrete, where the object is to control plastic shrinkage cracking. Requires No Mix Design or Placement Changes!
